MOSCOW (Sputnik) — German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said on Sunday that there are no signs of terror attacks that are under preparation in the country.
"At the moment our security services do not report about the terror attacks being prepared in Germany," de Maiziere told the Germany's Bild am Sonntag magazine.
De Maiziere gave the interview in the wake of Tuesday's terrorist attacks in Brussels. At least 31 people were killed and some 300 injured in two bomb blasts in Brussels' Zaventem airport and an explosion at a metro station in the city center. The Islamic State militant group, outlawed in many countries, including Russia, has claimed responsibility for the deadly explosions.
