ANKARA (Sputnik) — On Sunday, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing US officials, that Obama rejected proposal to have a one-on-one meeting with Erdogan, during a visit of the Turkish leader to the Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) in the United States.
"We do not have any information about the cancellation of the meeting at the moment. When there is any certainty we will inform press," the spokesman told RIA Novosti.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the only Obama's meeting with foreign leaders planned during the NSS will be with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
