MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In September, Trump signed a pledge ruling out running as a third party candidate in the 2016 US election. Trump also ruled out any possibility he would change his mind and renounce the loyalty pledge to the party.
"No, I won’t," Trump said during CNN’s Republican town hall, when asked whether he would keep his promise to support the nominee, as quoted by the network.
Trump reiterated that he did not believe the party and its establishment were treating him "fairly."
Trump has won a majority of the Republican presidential primaries and caucuses to date.
