Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko approved persons involved in the arrests and trials of Ukrainian nationals Nadezhda Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, that were proposed by the Ukrainian Security Council.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has approved sanctions against persons involved in the arrests and trials of Ukrainian nationals Nadezhda Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, according to a decree published on the president's website Wednesday.

The sanctions were proposed by the Ukrainian Security Council and stipulate "special economic and other restrictive measures against persons involved in illegal acts" against the three Ukrainians.
