Salah Abdeslam, suspected of involvement in the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, agreed to be extradited to the French authorities, according to Abdeslam's lawyer.

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Salah Abdeslam, suspected of involvement in the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, has agreed to be extradited from Belgium to France, his lawyer said Thursday.

"Today, at the Bruges prison, in the presence of a federal prosecutor, he agreed to be extradited to the French authorities," Cedric Moisse told local RTBF broadcaster.
