The publication of the footage came as the Russian Army's General Staff said that the Russian warplanes conducted about 500 sorties, hitting 2,000 Daesh targets between March 7 and March 27.
Sergey Rudskoy, the Chief of the General Staff's Main Operations Directorate, said that the Russian jets destroyed most of the terrorists' command centers in the first couple of days.

According to him, the warplanes destroyed columns of cars carrying terrorists and ammunition, which were trying to break through to Palmyra from Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.
Separately, he said that approximately 180 hectares (about 445 acres) of Palmyra's historical and residential districts have yet to be cleared of landmines and explosives.
The city of Palmyra and its historic ruins had been controlled by Daesh since May 2015.
The jihadist group, which has been condemned as a terrorist organization by Russia, the United States and other countries, shocked the world when it destroyed part of the ruins, which are a designated UNESCO World Heritage site.
