SANTIAGO (Sputnik) – Chile’s military and political leadership is ready to hold negotiations with Russia on the purchases of new types of military arms and not just helicopters, Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Deputy Director Anatoly Punchuk said Friday.
“Official Santiago is prepared for talks with Russia on the purchase of weapons and during the exhibition new topics came up, including on aviation and air defense systems,” Punchuk told RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the FIDAE-2016 arms show in the Chilean capital.
