MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The exact cause of the fire is unknown so far.
"Ten fire engines and 72 firefighters and officers were called to a fire on an industrial estate on West Mews near West Road in Tottenham, N17 on Saturday evening. The fire affected a single storey industrial bakery unit which partially collapsed. Although the fire is now under control, crews will be there throughout the night damping down deep seated pockets of fire," the London Fire Brigade stated in a statement.
The firefighters are using covering jets to protect a diesel tank and prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring factory units, it added.
Two aerial ladder platforms were also in use at the incident, the local emergency service stated.
