MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The show is scheduled to take place on September 6-11, 2016 near Kubinka, a western suburb of Moscow.
"The ‘Arctic’ exhibition will showcase innovative technologies, items that are already in production and technologies that will improve survival and be suitable for further application in the Far North," a statement by the ministry’s press office said.
The Russian military plans to set up more than 10 theme booths displaying various types of military hardware and weaponry.
The Defense Ministry will demonstrate advanced navigation systems, solutions for transport and military infrastructure, meteorological and environment monitoring, as well as emergency and rescue equipment that can be used in areas with subzero temperatures.
