MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Vote Remain campaign generated 51 percent of support against 49 percent of those calling for the exit from the bloc out of 2,002 people surveyed by the ORB pollster for The Telegraph.
The media concluded that British Prime Minister David Cameron's so called Project Fear campaign aimed at warning UK citizens about the threats represented by Brexit for the country, "is beginning to win the argument." A similar vote revealed in mid-March found that support for the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union led the campaign to keep Britain in the 28-member bloc by 2 percentage points.
British nationals vote in the Brexit referendum on June 23, after Prime Minister David Cameron negotiated a deal with 27 other EU leaders last month to grant the UK special status within the bloc.
