BAGHDAD (Sputnik) – Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and US Secretary of State John Kerry and his delegation met in Baghdad to discuss the fight against terrorism, an Iraqi government source told Sputnik on Friday.
"The two sides discussed bilateral relations and the coordination of common positions in the war on Daesh," the government source said.
John Kerry has paid an unannounced visit to Iraq Friday to show support for the Iraqi authorities, agencies reported earlier.
