Earlier in the day, nationwide rallies against a bill that would loosen labor regulations, giving employers more scope to fire and hire employees, restrict union rights and increase the 35-hour week were staged in France.
On March 24, RT's reporter Jonathan Moadab was caught in clashes and tear gas in Paris as people were protesting against the unpopular labor legislation proposed by the government.
