ANKARA (Sputnik) — The shelling targeted the city of Kilis, which hosts a large number of refugees and has repeatedly been shelled from the Syrian territory, according to the NTV broadcaster.
Ambulance crews have been deployed to the scene, three of the injured are in serous condition.
According to other media reports, the rockets are believed to have been fired from the area controlled by Daesh terrorist group.
In March, two civilians were killed in Kilis province in a similar incident. The Turkish artillery retaliated by shelling the positions in Syria from where the rocket missiles were presumably fired.
