MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Choquehuanca is currently on an international tour, and held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on April 12.
"We did not only discuss the Russia-Bolivia relations, bust also CELAC-Russia. It is important for the CELAC members to consider these relations, consolidate mechanisms of coordination to jointly bring forward proposals, both in the United Nations and in other platforms," Choquehuanca said, calling on Russia and CELAC to work together.
The so-called Russia — CELAC Mechanism was launched to promote political dialogue on the establishment of a transparent and equal world order based on international law and the provisions of the UN Charter.
