MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday it was too early to speak of a 2018 presidential run and that he had yet to decide on the matter.
"I think it's too early to talk about this. In such situations I always say the same thing and I want to repeat it again: we need to think about how to live up to people's trust today and achieve the goals we've set for ourselves, the promises we've made, rather than think about how we'll work in the future," Putin said during his annual Q&A session.
"The relevant decisions will be made depending on how the situation unfolds and work progresses," he added.
