Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there are opportunities to increase the number of political parties in Russia.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) —It is impossible to "play without rules" in the political fight, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.

"There are [opportunities to increase the number of political parties in Russia]. The issue is not allowing them to run in elections, the issue is having them show the electorate what they want and how they want to reach their aims," Putin said at his Q&A sessions.
