MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia's government is mulling how to increase personal income levels for the Russian people and help the most vulnerable layer of the population, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
"The current discussions revolve around different issues. The most important matter is how to increase investment, how to improve efficiency and meet the demand, meaning to raise the population's income levels. And the government is considering all this, these issues were very recently discussed, including how to assist the most vulnerable layer of the population," Putin said during his annual Q&A session.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding his annual Q&A session on April 14. It will be broadcasted by the country’s major TV channels and radio stations.
