MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Terrorism remains a threat to Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
"The risk is always there if you fail to pay proper attention to the fight against terrorism. We see that this danger, this disease affects many countries across the world, both in the Middle East, in Asia, the United States, European countries. I'm not even going to talk about Russia, we know what [terrorism] is, we've suffered major losses in the fight against terrorism. And the threat remains," Putin said during an annual Q&A session.
