Whistleblower Edward Snowden is not cooperating with any intelligence agency, including Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), his lawyer Anatoly Kucherena said Monday refuting corresponding media reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Last week, media reports emerged claiming that Germany’s intelligence BND believed Snowden was cooperating with the Kremlin and Russian special services.

"I can say that Edward has never broken his principle of not cooperating with any governments or any structures of any states, including Russian," Kucherena told RIA Novosti.

According to Kucherena, Snowden made clear his position on the issue upon arrival in Moscow.
