MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian finished products in the military industrial complex in 2015 increased by 13 percent, and military production increased by nearly 20 percent, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said during a speech before the lower house of parliament Tuesday.
“The military industrial complex is becoming all the more independent from foreign deliveries. The volume of finished products in 2015 increased by 13 percent, military production by almost 20 percent.”
The Russian Federal Space Program that was approved by the government for the next 10 years will not be cut back, the Russian prime minister said.
“Not too long ago, at the end of March, I confirmed the 10-year space program. We don’t plan on cutting it back.”
