KIEV (Sputnik) — According to the Ukrainian deputy prime minister, Kiev wants to recieve the tranche as soon as possible.
“I was handling the renewal [of cooperation] on the first tranche and I’m handling it today. We need to hold an inventory [of what’s been done], and we’ve already done this, and we need to send the legislative [project developed by the previous Cabinet of Ministers] to the Verkhovna Rada,” Kubiv said.
He said that the legislative project should be finished by May 1 so that in May the conditions of receiving the tranche could be agreed with the International Monetary Fund.
“We want to receive [the tranche] as soon as possible. We plan on receiving it when the mission arrives, and we plan on doing this in May, and do everything and review it this quarter, we’re talking May or June, Kubiv added.
