MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Sputnik-Turkey's bureau chief, Tural Kerimov, has been denied entry into the country earlier on Wednesday. Kerimov, who was also stripped of his accreditation and residence permit in Turkey, is currently at the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul awaiting deportation.
"First and foremost, it is necessary to respond at the level of the international community, it is a censorship and a violation of the freedom of speech," Bokova said.
In January 2015, Turkish ministers received the right to block any type of resource in the Internet without a court order. They can demand that the Turkish Telecommunications Department and providers block websites or delete content within four hours after receiving a notice of national security, protection of social order, or for the prevention of crime.
