The Central European republic planned to send $8.34 million in humanitarian assistance to Syria in the next 3 years, subject to debate and approval by the Czech government, Tlapa added.

In January, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini asked the Czech Republic to distribute EU humanitarian aid to Syria.
