BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – Images from CCTV cameras in the Zaventem Airport check-in area show that the three terrorists did not strike at random, the Dutch newspaper Derniere Heure reported citing its sources.
Brussels terrorists used vast quantities of explosive packed in large suitcases, which they were filmed wheeling on luggage trolleys to check-in desks for flights to Russia, the United States and Israel, the outlet said.
A total of 32 died in two bombings at the Brussels airport and at a metro station on March 22, most of them Belgians. Ibrahim Bakraoui and Najim Laachraoui detonated their explosives at the airport, killing themselves and 15 people around them, while the third suicide bomber, Mohamed Abrini, failed and was arrested earlier in April.
