The earthquake struck about 30 kilometres North — Northwest of Bahia de Caraquez city in the Ecuadorian province of Manabi, the agency reported.
There were no immediate reports on any casualties or damage.
A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Ecuador on Saturday, with its epicenter near the town of Pedernales. The death toll from the powerful earthquake has risen to 580 by now, according to the country's authorities data.
