MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Paris Agreement creates a "reliable framework" for finding a lasting solution to the climate change problem, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.

"With the adoption of the Paris Agreement, which unites the efforts of developed and developing countries in a single international legal format, a reliable framework has been created for a lasting solution to the climate problem," the ministry said in a statement.
