MOSCOW (Sputnik) — French police have arrested 12 people during violent protests against labor reforms in Paris, local media reported, citing the police’s statement.
On Friday night, the local law enforcement had to use tear gas to disperse an aggressive crowd of some 100 protesters in central Paris, who were trying to break through police lines, the RFI broadcaster said.

As a result of clashes, 12 people were detained for taking part in an illegal gathering and throwing projectiles, which set a police car on fire, according to the media outlet.
Paris has been swept by the so-called Up All Night gatherings since late March, with people protesting against the proposed amendments to the French labor code that may lead to an increase in working hours, among other unpopular measures.
