BELGRADE (Sputnik) — The ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SPP), led by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, is leading in the early parliamentary elections in Serbia with 56 percent of public support, exit polls revealed Sunday.
According to preliminary data, released by the Center for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID), the democratic Socialist Party of Serbia, led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic is in the second place with 10.9 percent of public support.
According to CeSID, the far right Serbian Radical Party may be represented in the parliament for the first time in recent years, having earned 7.3 percent of support.
