COSMODROME VOSTOCHNY (Russia’s Far East) (Sputnik) – The first launch from the Vostochny space center was conducted on Thursday. On Wednesday, the launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket from Vostochny was postponed due to a failure of the rocket's automatic control system.

"The separation of the spacecraft from the Volga booster has been registered," the representative said.
The Soyuz rocket orbited Russia’s Aist-2D, Mikhailo Lomonosov and SamSat-218 research satellites.
