MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday it would present at least 20 modern and advanced weapons and equipment of Naval forces in its upcoming International Military-Technical Forum Army-2016.
"Over 20 modern and advanced weapons and military equipment of naval aviation and coastal forces of the Navy will be presented at the outdoor exhibition area of the Patriot Park, as well as some exponents of large-scale special equipment," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the exhibition will include high-speed boats, the Typhoon unmanned patrol boat and the Marlin-350 unmanned remotely operated vehicle, among other equipment for search and rescue operations, navigation and hydrographic support and other tasks.
The Army-2016 forum is scheduled to take place on September 6-11 at the Russian Armed Forces’ Patriot Park in Kubinka, a western suburb of Moscow.
