Five Sudanese servicemen were killed when a military plane crashed in the country’s south, Sudan Armed Forces said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the media outlet, the aircraft, an Antonov 26, crashed when landing in the El Obeid airport due to a technical problem.

"All the crew members including three officers and two soldiers were killed in the accident," spokesperson Brigadier, Ahmed Khalifa Shami said Saturday, as quoted by the Sudan Tribune newspaper.
