TEHRAN (Sputnik) — Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh may hold a bilateral meeting with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak before the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member states convene in June, a source in Iran’s Ministry of Petroleum told Sputnik.
"We do not rule out the possibility that we will have contacts with the Russian minister or ministers of other countries prior to the [OPEC] summit," the source said.
However, the source added that there were no specific agreements about possible bilateral meetings.
