According to Ukrainian media, thousands of the country's nationals work in Libya, including those employed as medical staff, with some of them residing in cities seized by Daesh.
The political instability in Libya has led to the rise of numerous Islamic militant and terrorist groups, including Daesh which is banned in Russia and other countries.
