MINSK (Sputnik) — According to the minister, five potential foreign investors are currently competing for the right to develop an Iranian copper field. Nematzadeh added that Iran and Kazakhstan had recently signed a deal on the development of an Iranian gold field.
"No restrictions apply to foreign investors. Iran's mines are attracting many foreign investors. We hold monthly mining tenders," Nematzadeh told journalists.
On Wednesday, a meeting of the Iran-Belarus Joint Economic Committee took place in the Belarusian capital of Minsk. During the meeting, the sides signed a roadmap for expanding economic cooperation between Tehran and Minsk, covering the years 2016-2017.
