MOSCOW (Sputnik) — TTIP and TPP are free trade treaties between the United States and its economic allies in Europe and Asia respectively.
"These projects, unlike ours, are based on the inequality of participants and appear to be new attempts to isolate and suppress those who are not in favor of living in a unipolar world," Naryshkin told the Xinhua news agency.
The TTIP deal has drawn severe criticism for the lack of transparency in the negotiations as well as for the tremendous power it would potentially give to international corporations. TTIP has also been slammed for bypassing the framework of the World Trade Organization and excluding the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries.
