"It will be better if you upload the degree on DU website. After all, people of this country have the right to know how much educated our Prime Minister is," he wrote.
Kejriwal also asked how Modi could receive a post-graduate degree if he didn't obtain a bachelor's degree. During Modi's election campaign, he said he had graduated from the University of Delhi with a Bachelor of Arts. However, this information has not been disclosed by the university.
The letter, written in Hindi, was later published on Kejriwal's Twitter.

On Wednesday, AAP leaders visited the University to meet with the Vice-Chancellor of the University and later said that details about Modi's degree had not been disclosed. Earlier, Mr. Kejriwal took to Twitter and alleged that the PM's degree was "fake," which is why the University had not shared it yet.

Last Friday, the Central Information Commission asked Delhi University and Gujarat University to "make best possible search for the information regarding degrees in the name of Mr. Narendra Damodardas Modi in the year 1978 (Graduation in DU) and 1983 (Post Graduation in GU) and provide it to the appellant Mr. Kejriwal as soon as possible." The University of Delhi declined to give information related to PM's degree. The university cited an inability to find information without a roll number as the reason for the denial.
