11:47 GMT 05.05.2016 (Updated: 19:27 GMT 19.10.2022) The Russian Defense Ministry published a video of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducting flights in Syria on its official YouTube channel.
The video shows the incredible Su-25 fighter jet, Mi-8 transport-combat helicopter, Su-35s, the Su-24M and fighter-bomber Su-34.
The video was made using action cameras and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The air force was involved in combating Daesh terrorists in Syria and was based at Hmeymim airbase in Latakia until the end of March 2016.
Currently, most of the combat vehicles have returned to Russia, but some aircraft and helicopters continue to strike militant positions.
