WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The coalition’s airstrikes in Syria were launched near Mara and destroyed an Daesh logistics facility, along with a facility for car bombs and an ammunition storage center, according to the release.
"In Syria, coalition military forces conducted three strikes using attack and fighter aircraft against ISIL [Daesh] targets," the release stated on Thursday.
"Additionally in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted 15 strikes coordinated with and in support of the Government of Iraq using ground-attack, fighter, bomber, and remotely piloted aircraft against ISIL targets."
