MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck southern Mexico on Sunday, US Geological Survey (USGS) agency said.
The quake’s epicenter was located about 18 miles northeast from Pinotepa municipality in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, its seismic focus was located at a depth of about 15 miles.
According to USGS, the tremors were recorded at 7:34 GMT.
No victims or damages have been reported so far.
