Waldir Maranhao, the acting speaker of the Brazilian lower house signed the decision on annulment of the impeachment process against President Dilma Rousseff, according to local media.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) —The acting speaker of the Brazilian lower house annulled Monday the impeachment process against President Dilma Rousseff, local media reported.

According to the Gazetaweb portal, Waldir Maranhao signed the decision on annulment earlier in the day. No additional information was available at the moment, with the decision expected to be officially announced later on Tuesday.
