WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — NASA TV will televise the Dragon release and departure starting at 9 a.m. EDT (13:00 GMT). The aircraft will parachute to a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.
"The SpaceX Dragon cargo ship is ending its stay tomorrow [on Wednesday] at the International Space Station. The commercial cargo craft has been packed with about 3,700 pounds of cargo, spacewalk gear and biological samples for analysis on Earth," the statement, published at the NASA website on Tuesday, reads.
The cargo ship arrived at the International Space Station and docked Harmony utility hub on April 10.
