The amount of cash depends on the vulnerability and is “granted entirely at the discretion of Pornhub.”
Additionally, bugs must be reported within 24 hours of their discovery, and those who find them cannot discuss the vulnerability with anyone else.
Bounties will only be awarded to the first people to discover and report problems, Vocativ wrote on Monday.
With this, Pornhub joins a number of technology giants that have recently implemented Bug Bounty programs, including DropBox, Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, Adobe and Twitter.
“The brand new program provides some of our developer-savvy fans a chance to earn some extra cash… and the opportunity to be included in helping to protect and enhance the site for our 60 million daily visitors,” Pornhub Vice President Corey Price said in a statement issued Monday.
Ruposters Life earlier said that Pornhub had launched a free VR-pornography platform offering videos clips adapted for use by Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Rift virtual reality systems that completely immerse viewers inside virtual worlds.
