Russian cross country skier and Sochi medalist Alexander Legkov rejected all doping usage accusations on Friday and said that for several years prior to the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, he was under strict doping control and got tested in Switzerland and elsewhere.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The New York Times published a material on Thursday quoting ex-director of Moscow anti-doping laboratory Grigory Rodchenkov who claimed that at least 15 Russian medal winners were a part of “a state-run doping program, meticulously planned for years to ensure dominance at the Games.”

“Four years before the Sochi [Olympic Games] I left for Europe and had been training there… I undergone all the doping tests in Europe where I was training. As soon as I began training with the foreigners, I used their hint and started to collect results of my [doping] examinations. This folder [with the examinations results] is with me at the moment,” he told R-Sport.

He added the he would file a lawsuit against Rodchenkov if deems so necessary.
