MOSCOW (Sputnik), Alexander Mosesov — On Thursday, the UK government stated that it would be "incubating" a new Anti-Corruption Innovation Hub, with the possible participation of several other countries, including Norway, in order to raise the efficiency of global anti-corruption efforts by connecting social and technology experts and scientists with business and civil societies as well as with law enforcers.
"I can confirm that Norway will participate in the Anti-Corruption Innovation Hub," Kristian Larsson said.
In April, the German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung exposed the alleged involvement of the world's wealthy, including a number of former and current state leaders, in offshore schemes by publishing information it claimed came from a leak from the Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca.
Mossack Fonseca has refused to confirm that the authenticity of the leaked papers although it acknowledged that it had been hacked.
