The 36-page document was aimed to answer some actual questions for Italian investors, including why and how to invest in Russia.
It is the result of cooperation between the Italian Embassy in Moscow, the Bank of Italy, the Russian-Italian Trade Chamber and other key players in the Russian market.
The document lays out possibilities and advantages of the Russian market for those ready to "invest resources and ideas" into the Russian economy.
The guide also provides detailed information on the economic situation in Russia and special economic zones.
"Over the recent years, the amount of foreign investments in Russia has been rapidly growing," Italian Ambassador in Russia Cesare Maria Ragaglini wrote in the introduction.
According to him, investments in Russia could create great possibilities for growth but investors should observe the "written and unwritten rules" of business.
"Italy has a real chance to become an important strategic and industrial partner for Russia. I’m sure that our company will take the chance," he concluded.
