SIMFEROPOL (Sputnik) – Crimea will take part in the vote to Russia’s lower-house State Duma this fall for the first time since rejoining Russia in March 2014.
"It is very important that the ODIHR sees with its own eyes how the first elections to the State Duma are being held," Moskalkova told journalists.
The Crimean Federal District formed four single-member majoritarian constituencies ahead of the September 18 vote, three in Crimea and one in Sevastopol.
Moskalkova is on a working visit to Crimea on May 11-14.
