According to a joint communique, international community is prepared to respond to requests from the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) to train and equip vetted troops.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) The international community is prepared to respond to requests from the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) to train and equip vetted troops, according to a joint communique issued from the ministerial meeting in Vienna, Austria on Monday.

"We are ready to respond to the Libyan government’s requests for training and equipping the Presidential Guard and vetted forces from throughout Libya," said the statement issued by 22 state ministers as well as the African Union, European Union, League of Arab States and the United Nations.
