“Jake, kindly go to the court on Tuesday and take custody your brother from Tusla. My lawyer will be making the illegal way yourself and Donal got him into Tusla (lying to the cops etc) known to the judge,” wrote O'Connor.
“Do not abandon your brother or any other of my babies again. What you have done to your brother and your mother is LITERALLY criminal,” O’Connor wrote. Twelve-year-old Shane had earlier been placed with a child services agency in Ireland.
A second post called the separation between her and her sons “malicious,” and contained the Harriet Tubman quote, “There was one of two things I had a right to liberty or death if I could not have one I would have the other.”
It had been reported that police had listed O’Connor, 49, as “missing, suicidal,” after her absence was reported on Monday. She was located that afternoon at a local hotel and has been taken to a nearby hospital. Her condition remains unclear.
“The best thing I can do is advise you get a solicitor of your own which you are now entitled to because you are 12 and bring a case of your own against Tusla, under the Children's rights clauses of the constitution,” the post read.
O’Connor is most well-known for her cover of "Nothing Compares 2 U," written by Prince, which she released in 1990. She is no stranger to controversy, after ripping up a photo of Pope John Paul II while singing the word “evil” on Saturday Night Live, protesting the appalling multitude of sexual abuses within the Catholic Church.
The Irish singer has four children ranging in age from 9 to 28.
In November, O’Connor was hospitalized after leaving her relatives an angry note claiming she had taken an overdose of pills in response to a "horrific set of betrayals" by her family.
"I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home. I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name,” the note read.
A few days after she was found, she took to Facebook again to attack her children and other relatives.
"I'm s*** to you. You're dead to me. You killed your mother. You stole my sons,” the now-deleted post read, in part.
O’Connor trended on Twitter for most of the day, with nearly 70,000 tweets including her name. Most were sympathetic, given the possibility that she was planning to harm herself.

The singer is currently being sued by Arsenio Hall for allegations she made that the former late-night host supplied Prince with drugs “over the decades,” and that he “spiked” her drink at Eddie Murphy’s house.
