MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia upset Sweden 4-1 on Tuesday to win their last game of the preliminary round at the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Moscow.

With the sixth consecutive win and 18 points, Russia secured the 2nd place in Group A trailing the Czech Republic.

Russia will face Germany in the quarterfinals game on May 19.
