ST. PETERSBURG (Sputnik) – The role of unilateral sanctions used for political reasons is increasing, and such measures serve as a way to intervene in other countries' internal affairs, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Wednesday.
"We see how the role of unilateral sanctions, imposed by certain countries in the framework of their political goals, is increasing. In fact, such measures have become a way to arbitrarily interfere in the affairs of other countries," Medvedev said at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
